Pottery Classes

Personalized instruction, skill-building, and lots of good times. Beginners welcome.

Classes include:

  • All materials and firing 

  • Access to Open Studio hours during your class session: Tuesday–Sunday, 11am–6pm

  • A welcoming community of artists

Come join us for our inaugural 6-week sessions. Whether you want to try the challenge of the pottery wheel or explore your creativity through handbuilding, we have something for everyone.

Explore new forms and learn to throw and trim with more intention. Syllabus will depend on the students, but may include vases, plates, and other forms.

Intro to Handbuilding

Come play in the mud! In this beginner-friendly playground, we will pinch, roll, and smash our way to beautiful masterpieces using classic hand-building tricks like coiling and slab-making. We'll even teach you how to paint them with shiny glazes. We provide all the mud and the tools—you just bring your hands and a willingness to get a little dirty!
