The location is excellent — off the beaten path, tucked away on a side street off of Jean Sweeney Open Space. And our street is covered in gorgeous blackberry vines for summer snacking.
We even have our own gated parking lot. And the cyclists among you will love the bike path that goes right to our door.
Do you offer team-building events?

Yes! Contact us for corporate team-building, private group classes, and any other special event ideas you have.
How about kids’ classes?

Right now we're focused on adults and teens, but we're open to offering kids' classes in the future.
What's the difference between handbuilding and wheel throwing?

Wheel throwing uses a pottery wheel to shape clay as it spins. Handbuilding is exactly what it sounds like — you build forms with your hands using techniques like coils, slabs, and pinching.
Neither one is "better" or “easier.” They just feel different.
If you're looking for a slower, more relaxed introduction to ceramics, handbuilding is often the perfect place to start.
Both handbuilding and wheel throwing offer endless opportunities to learn, and many ceramic artists enjoy doing both.
What if I’m not creative?

Creativity isn't something you're born with or without. It's something you practice.
A pottery class is simply a chance to spend a couple of hours making something with your hands, trying a few new ideas, and seeing where your curiosity takes you. You don't need to be an artist to enjoy that.
We are here to help adults rediscover play, curiosity, and learning. Sometimes you make art, and sometimes you just play in the mud. What a gift.
