Create beautiful, oversized ceramic bowls that'll take pride of place on your holiday table, whether you're hosting a feast or bringing something special to share.

This three-session workshop takes you from clay to finished piece. Make as many as you'd like, experimenting with different shapes, sizes, and finishes.

  • Session 1 – Throwing: Explore generous, wide forms on the wheel, focusing on shapes that are beautiful, stable, and functional..

  • Session 2 – Trimming: Refine your work, trim foot rings, and prepare your pieces for firing.

  • Session 3 – Glaze Lab: Experiment with festive glazing techniques, rich colors, and dramatic finishes. Choose the Glaze Lab sessions that work for your schedule, and attend as many as you'd like. (Schedule coming soon!)

Advanced beginners and up welcome. Participants should be comfortable throwing a straight-sided cylinder using at least 2 lbs of clay. All materials, glazing, and firing included.

This class has two options — Tuesday mornings and Thursday evenings. Choose the series that works best for your schedule.
