Create beautiful, one-of-a-kind ceramic jars, from festive candy containers and sugar bowls to keepsake boxes. Fill them with homemade cookies, holiday candies, or a little surprise for someone special.

In this three-session workshop, you'll explore the art of making lidded forms while developing greater precision on the wheel. Experiment with different shapes, lid styles, and decorative details to create a collection of personalized gifts. Make as many pieces as you'd like.
Session 1 – Throwing: Explore techniques for creating jars and matching lids, experimenting with different forms, proportions, and fitting methods.
Session 2 – Trimming: Refine your pieces, adjust lid fittings, and add handles or decorative details to make each gift unique.
Session 3 – Glaze Lab: Add the finishing touches with festive colors, layered glazes, and decorative finishes. Choose the Glaze Lab sessions that suit your schedule, and attend as many as you'd like. (Schedule coming soon!)
Advanced beginners and up welcome. Participants should be comfortable throwing a straight-sided cylinder using at least 1.5 lbs of clay. All materials, glazing, and firing included.
